Reactive dyes, also known as reactive dyes, are a new type of water-soluble dyes. Reactive dyes contain reactive groups that react with hydroxyl groups in cellulose and amino groups in protein fibers. Covalent bonds are formed with fibers during dyeing to form "dye-fiber" compounds. Reactive dyes are characterized by bright color, good uniformity, simple dyeing method, high dyeing fastness, complete chromatogram and low cost. They are mainly used in dyeing and printing of cotton, linen, viscose, silk, wool and their blended fabrics.
